How do you broaden the appeal of the LA Fim Festival beyond a few unshaven

existentialists in berets smoking French cigarettes?
DDB los Angeles wanted to be sure that "normal" people knew that while this was a

independent film festival, the movies would be entertaining and not just two guys talking

about soup in subtitles. To build on the success of the previous campaign "See a movie

instead" (an Effie Winner), DDB created a commercial which made everyone feel

welcome while hinting at the sexy, edgy, fun movies that would be shown.

A beautiful sexy girl arrives at her apartment with a guy. They are preparing for some hot sex!. She goes

to the bathroom, he goes to pour a drink. In the meanwhile we notice a third figure in the room, a black

uy watching and eating popcorn like he was at the cinema. In fact that is what he is!
He is watching everything and eating his popcorn. Then he notices the "girl" is urinating standing up and

even giving a good shake to something. Oh no! It´s a GUY..
The reaction of the black guy is comic disgust! We suffer with him as the "girl" jumps on the guest and

starts giving him what he wasn´t expecting...

Vodafone is the only mobile operator in Hungary to provide WAP service to its prepaid customers through GPRS technology. This gives a low flat rate and without any pre-minute charge.
Our poor hero is having difficulty seeing the stripper through the shutter and has to keep putting in his

Three Erotic Days (and nights)
The organisers of LEAF, prisma:magazine,(*) prepared a program of Festival activities ranging from a Street Art Poster Campaign to an erotic literature fair as well as the RedLEAF exhibition of Erotic Packaging and a show of the work of the French Photographer Colette Douilard ("The masculine Nude"). The program began on 15th March in the FNAC Megastore/Almada Forum and built up to a climax over the last three days and the LEAF Gala Awards Ceremony and Dance Party on Friday 26th March. T
here was an ample space for debate in the several other workshops and seminars, all devoted to the burning questions of the uses of erotic content in advertising, restrictions and legal considerations and so on. On Saturday, foreign visitors could take advantage of a special tourist programme with visits to the scenic and historic parts of Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. For more tourist information: www.atl-turismolisboa.pt

Can you do EROTIC? Not everyone can.In point of fact most advertising people cannot. Next year you will again have the chance to show your stuff, up against others who think they are the best in the world. See you at LEAF 2005!

As everyone who works in advertising knows, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on... This was once again proven in March, in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon!
Portugal is a country on the western edge of Europe, often bathed in splendid sunshine when the rest of Europe is under gloomy skies. A country with a long tradition as a tourist heaven, owing to its special climactic conditions, scenery, gastronomy and night life (for more information on Lisbon, please see http://www.atl-turismolisboa.pt )

So come again next year see what LEAF has to offer!
